    In this role, you have the opportunity of

    Leading Experience Design Research focusing on its data analyses to identify people’s changing needs, decisions, behaviors, and underlying motivations to envision, design and proof the effectiveness of future health interventions from an experiential, behavior change and health outcomes angle. In this way you contribute directly to Philips quadruple aim of improving patient and staff experience, healthcare outcomes and costs of care; At the same time you will be able to use your innovation power to develop new people-focused mixed-method approaches that better support data analyses for evidence building of experience-related improvements through data analyses methods that fit ongoing iterative and incremental people understanding and experience research, co-creation, and (data-enabled) evaluations of (digital) healthcare innovations.

    You are responsible for

    Data analyses tracks in Design Research projects, including definition of scope of experience design research, its hypotheses, set up, data analyses approaches that are aligned amongst multiple disciplinary stakeholders to support strategic business purposes;

    • Leading and executing the design research and data analyses role in research programs that involve processes to enroll fieldwork in healthcare environments correctly; Leading and executing qualitative, mixed method, and evidence-based research to guarantee people's insights are being appropriately interpreted, translated and manifested in solutions;

    • Create innovative data analyses approaches to better support experience-related evidence building related to Philips quadruple aim and support cross-disciplinary collaborative analyses, integrating capabilities, views and methods to maximize the impact of people insights in healthcare innovation, strategic projects or research programs;

    • Support in approaches that empower multiple stakeholders and disciplines to utilize, disseminate and deploy experience insights appropriately in the organization as well as effectively supporting users' engagement and behavior change when using new solutions;

By means of outstanding (experience design) translation skills, coordination and multi-stakeholder facilitation skills they support the creation of meaningful and innovative solutions in a future connected world.

    To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

    • A (combined) master degree in Strategic Design, Industrial Design, Social and Behavior sciences, Psychology, Data science or Medical degree with emphasis on quantitative and qualitative analytical skills. From starting experience up to 4 years of experience in areas focused on data-related, innovation, strategic design and healthcare context;

    • Starting experience in healthcare domain /of/ secondary and primary care settings /of/ from acute to chronic care /of/ experienced working together with physicians, nurses and patients and their loved ones.

    • Professional communication skills to work with other design disciplines and consultants (clinical / data).

    • Recognized for your expertise and talent in a diverse set of research approaches like data analytics, quantitative research set ups versus qualitative research such as observations, online and social media-related, design research. Strong in combining quantitative and qualitative knowledge and pattern analytics; predictive analytics; as well as creative research and translation tools. Affinity with qualitative collection and analytics tools, illustrator, InDesign, SPSS,SAS, R, Phyton, programming languages, and movie-related storytelling.

    • Ability to lead local research in the field and conversations in another language (e.g English, German, Spanish, Mandarin)
