    Dental Representative

    As Dental Representative you are responsible for convincing selected customers (dentists, dental hygienists, prevention assistants) of the therapeutic effect of GSK oral care brands (Sensodyne, Parodontax, Proglasur).

    This by translating marketing strategies to the target group according to well-defined guidelines, using the right monitoring tools & scientific foundation, in order to achieve the objectives.

    Your responsibilities:

    As Dental Representative your responsibilities can be divided in 5 main topics:

    Commercial execution:

    • Understanding and working on how GSK approaches Health Care Professionals and Key External Experts using training and tools provided by Expert Marketing.
    • Executing the segmentation plan by region area and reporting daily in the CRM system.
    • Delivering a compelling science-based sales pitch to reach or change recommendations of GSK brands.
    • Gathering market information and feeding back to the team (sales, marketing).

    Category & brands:

    • You train to become a champion to explain the brand and category strategy to the Health Care Professionals.
    • Working with different departments of marketing, sales, regulatory to provide insight into the Expert environment.

    Scientific innovations:

    • Discuss new product launch campaigns through science-based face-to-face conversations.
    • Support and attend local, national events (conferences, etc.) and provide educational training as needed (e.g. Lunch & Learns).

    Talent & culture:

    • Comply with all standard procedures for customer-facing roles.
    • Sharing best practices: transferring knowledge and experience among colleagues.

    Key Performance Indicators

    • Achieving the target of number of calls per year.
    • Recommendations from the Dental Health Care Professionals.
    • Quality of the conversation.
    • Number of Rep events (e.g. Lunch & Learns).

    Why you?

    Basic Qualifications:

    We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

    • HBO / University degree in sales, marketing, Dental or pharma studies.
    • 3+ years of work experience within Sales
    • Languages: Fluent in English and Dutch
    • Driving license

    Preferred Qualifications:

    If you have the following characteristics it would be a plus:

    • Relevant commercial experience Dental/Pharma
    • Strong Communication Skills
    • Relationship Builder (internal/external)
    • Teamplayer
