    This is the role

    As a Delivery Scheduler you are responsible for the accurate and timely execution of the order delivery creation process for land transport orders for the LyondellBasell Liquid Bulk Chemicals Division in Europe (including Sales Orders and Stock Transfer Orders).
    The Delivery Scheduling activities include but are not limited to: Delivery creation in SAP, loading scheduling at plants and terminals, coordination of transportation and on time delivery, handling order process exceptions, investigation for customer complaints and negotiation of incremental logistics cost as well as any demurrage costs.

    As a Delivery Scheduler you are also responsible and accountable for resolution of any logistics problems requiring effective communication both internally and externally to ensure total customer satisfaction with LyondellBasell products and services. You need to be flexible and adaptable to work cross functionally and provide support to Supply Chain team members and business partners. Your responsibilities will be:

    • Runs “Delivery Due lists” and “Creates Deliveries” to arrange transportation for land transportation orders (including informing plants, CSRs, Product Schedulers, Terminals, Hauliers, Warehouses and Surveyors), monitors orders on correctness and (logistics) requirements (as determined by the LyondellBasell plants, Third Party Terminals and receivers. Pro-actively inform CF on possible issues. Also manages change requests from hauliers and customers.
    • Problem Resolution: Act as trouble-shooter with high degree of autonomy on logistics operational decisions (with a minimum of supervision). Investigate, advise, communicate and implement structural (corrective) resolutions for issues occurred
    • Vendor communication: Act as the main logistics operations point of contact with hauliers for all customer and logistics related operational issues. Daily management of reports sent to service providers on all outstanding deliveries. Delivery Scheduler is responsible for receiving confirmation and agreement from the haulier on the daily haulier order report. Follow up on issues and provide feedback to hauliers. Execute, coordinate and monitor the daily operations relative to hauliers’ activities.
    • Enters QI’s in the system and Investigate and recommend corrective actions for internal complaints
    • Investigates QN’s and monitors the responses of the carriers whether they are provided correctly and in time
    • Incremental Logistic Costs: Controls process for Incremental Logistic Costs. Inform CSR and Terminal Manager(s) on incremental costs received from the haulier. Check within Transporeon extra cost requests from Hauliers on completeness and correctness. Excellent understanding of the root causes and agreements made within the SC. Reject or approve extra cost. Resolves Month End discrepancies between Lyondell and Haulier.
    • Participates actively in SAP system testing - this can include participation in production validation testing during the weekend - contributes to drawing up system test plans, advises other users on current applications, trains on SAP transactions and assists with enhancement trainings.

    This is what you bring

    • Msc. or Bsc. degree.
    • IT capabilities (SAP, MS Office)
    • 1-3 years experience in a business or business related environment (preferably in the chemical or petrochemical industry).
    • English, additional European languages are a benefit.
    • You live in The Netherlands and are allowed to work here.
