Data Quality Specialist
that you work in a challenging, international environment with the mission to increase and facilitate the use of data and to support the bank’s data driven business opportunities. Being data driven includes the recognition that data must be managed efficiently and with professional discipline. Insufficient data quality impacts business decisions, customer information, efficiency and compliance to law and regulations.
Imagine you are responsible for the effective implementation of data quality across the bank. And image that you can be a key success factor in meeting this ambition.
Making a difference
A Data Quality Specialist is responsible for effective implementation of data quality processes across the bank and to improve the overall data quality. Key activities are:
to define and communicate data quality strategies, procedures and metrics across Rabobank Group in order to set a structural base to improve the quality of data and to analyse the effectiveness of the measures taken.
Supporting the different departments across the bank with the implementation of the groupwide data quality processes (norms and forms): i.e. data quality monitoring, data quality issue management, data definitions, data governance, reference data
Specifically, to implement the data quality track as part of the KYC program and to meet the data quality milestones and KPIs
Furthermore we expect the Data Quality Specialist to initiate, track and oversee the delivery of data quality projects and services and to understand and promote the value of data assets. This means, among other things, that data requirements are implemented from the start in new projects and you focus on continuous improvement of data quality.
With each other
Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. You become part of a relatively new department with highly educated, motivated professionals. The joint mission: the authority in the field of data management, and leading the way to a data-driven bank.
Within the Data Management Office you will work with talented people who have a passion for data. With you as data quality specialist, the department will consist of diverse colleagues in a variety of data roles.

We are involved with various impactful programs across the bank, such as KYC (know your customer), data4food, BCBS#239. A dynamic role with a lot of room for a self-starter and entrepreneurial individual to shape our ambition to become a data driven bank”
Strong communication skills, result driven, analytic skills and cooperation are clearly essential for the role of data quality specialist. In addition, it's important that you recognise yourself in the checklist below:
