Over the past few years, our teams have solved a wide variety of cases, such as analyzing beer drinking and hairstyle trends by utilizing our Visual Recognition Tools, as well as identifying prospective leads by generating intelligence dashboards derived from Visual Content Analysis.
As a QA Data Engineer in the Amsterdam Office you’ll be part of our rockstar Product-team consisting of Designers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Data Analysts. In this team you’ll be responsible for driving high quality data engineering, automating our tests across the data pipeline and continuous improvement of our delivery database. We are moving from data to insights to real time actions and you have a key role to make that happen. You will be building upon our software as a service application which helps our clients win new business through our unique data and data science capabilities.
Develop test cases to verify the quality of data sets
Grow the agile way of working and embrace devops & dataops principles
Test datasets and models used for analytics
Design and develop validation frameworks for ML models
Automate testing as much as possible. Some manual testing may be required
Liaise with our data operations team to help them to implement a better QA method in ongoing data deliveries.
Leverage, and contribute to the existing testing automation infrastructure
Strong analytical skills - you are a self starter that finds a strong approach to resolve a technical problem
MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience in leading an agile team
3+ years of experience building automation frameworks in big data environments and building production ready data pipelines
Strong understanding of distributed frameworks such as Spark, micro services, containers, cloud environments, and their testing
Strong verbal and written communication skills, leadership skills to take the team with you towards supreme quality
