    Data Entry Administrator Rail

    Job Description

    For our Utrecht office we are looking for a Data Processor Rail. Your main responsibility will be to perform the processing, analysis and quality control (QC) of the collected data in accordance with prescribed procedures and with accuracy. In this role it is important that you are reliable and efficient with organizational and problem-solving skills. You are a first class communicator with a proactive and systematic approach and a cooperative attitude.

    Your role

    • You process and analyse the information collected from the RILA system (laser vision, video and 360 degree LiDAR) in a variety of in-house, cloud based, developed software and industry standard software;

    • You take care of the administrative processing and QC reporting of the projects. Key is to provide valuable input for continuous improvement of existing algorithms, working procedures and new products;

    • You carry out projects to meet the delivery excellence expectation of clients with the latest methods and new technologies.

    • You work in the following areas:

      • LiDAR point cloud data processing;

      • GNSS/INS data processing;

      • Laser vision data processing;

      • Feature extraction from imagery or 3D data;

      • Microstation, GIS tools, TerraSolid, LazTools and MATLAB;

      • Identify and report improvements in both the processing and collection process.

    What you bring along

    • You have a mbo-level education and a background in one or more of the following areas:

      • Geospatial science;

      • Geomatics;

      • Geomatics engineering;

      • Surveying engineering;

      • Geoinformatics,

      • Geoinformation science;

      • Geodetics.

    • You approximately have 1-2 years’ working experience;

    • You preferably have experience in the following fields :

      • Knowledge of coordinate systems and reference frames,

      • Knowledge of Geodetic principles,

      • Processing of mobile mapping for railways or roads,

      • LiDAR data,

    • You are proficient in speaking and writing in English.
