    Data Engineer

    Full-time · 40h · Amsterdam

    The Data team may be a relatively small team within Label A, but that doesn’t stop us from dreaming! We took our first steps in taking over the digital world by working with big brands like Greenwheels, Swapfiets and Porsche and with start-ups like Check. But now we’re looking for a Data Engineer to help us with our own tool Awarehouse. Sounds good?! Read further and apply!

    What are you going to do?

    As the Label A Data team we always work towards the goal of adding value for our customers by unlocking value through data. Of course, there is a wide range of possibilities in working with data. So what can you expect at Label A? As a digital agency, we work for different clients, which also means a large variability in projects. From setting up tracking or dashboarding to using a machine learning model to predict product usage or segment users. A lot of your time will be spent with the further development of Awarehouse, our own data warehouse tool.

    Besides these techniques, you will get time to look into new ones and try to challenge yourself and the team to keep innovating.

    Your specs:

    • 3+ years of experience in date engineering;
    • Proficient in Python;
    • Knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines;
    • You are capable of understanding what a client wants;
    • You are a team player and have good communication skills;

    What do we offer you?

    How We Roll

    We work hard and take our work very seriously, but there is always room for fun. Work hard, play hard! What can you expect?

    Everyone is part of the Label A-team! Even though we got an office in Amsterdam and in Rotterdam all of our 60 A-players are part of one big team.     You will form a team with Bart and Yorin. They believe that having your own fields of interest and expertise makes them even better as a team. Of course, that’s not all. Need some technical support? We have a big back-end team with a lot of experience. Our Sysops team can help you set up services. Struggling with the business side of things then our Finance Manager Tim can help you out!
