    Data CoE - Business Analyst

    The Specialist, Enterprise Programs & Data CoE, will work as a member of the Animal Health Data CoE. The Data CoE is foundational for setting out the strategy for the governance, maintenance and process optimization of our Master Data and their supporting technology solutions. This is driven through a dedicated Enterprise Master Data Program – targeting enterprise data with a focus on critical business processes in Animal Health.

    The incumbent will closely collaborate with the various divisions in Animal Health IT, the various platform teams and the business partners who are looking for data and process insights to support the strategy of the Data CoE. The insights will provide better visibility to our business processes and IT systems landscape, as well as identifying root causes to improve data quality and process resiliency. The ideal candidate is an individual who can execute in a matrixed environment and provide critical thought leadership while also ensuring the delivery of IT enabled capabilities in a compliant manner.


    • Create transparency on master data quality and implement continuous improvement cycles for master data management for the product domain
    • Further development of the Data Quality and IRIS Milestone Reports, Dashboards and Aera Skill in an interative agile way
    • Support the training and adoption of the Data Quality and IRIS Milestone Assets
    • Further support and guide product domain operationalization of Data Quality Management & Reporting, providing coaching and training where necessary.
    • Visualize the data for data interpretation and analyzing results, using statistical techniques where possible/needed.
    • Leading and completing some key Hot Spots, to improve Master Data Quality.
    • Establish future vision and strategy for Data Quality as it relates to self-healing master data
    • Business Process Mapping of critical master data processes in Animal Health.
    • Develop domain expertise in key business processes, systems, and data.
    • Leadership – Support, design and implement strategic, aligned and compliant solutions to support business initiatives. Support the leadership vision, strategy and policy for building a high performance engagement model with the business units.
    • Relationships - Build exceptional relationships with stakeholders which are focused on meeting the business needs.
    • Global - Ensure that the solutions are aligned with AHIT platforms and support the AH strategy.
    • Diversity - Respect diversity on project teams, different perspectives, ideas, knowledge while working towards a common goal.
    • Change Management - Adopt high quality change management practices with customers and stakeholders, and implementing solutions that are sustainable. Be a role model of the Leadership Behaviors.

    The candidate must also be able to function independently and have excellent communication and listening skills while being accountable for quality of work product and on-time delivery.The position will report into the AH Data COE.

    Position Qualifications:

    Education Minimum Requirement:

    Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics.

    Required Experience and Skills:

    • Passion for Data and Business Process Management
    • Knowledge of the SAP Core Processes
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Technical expertise regarding data models, architecture, business process modeling languages
    • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.

    Preferred Experience and Skills:

    • Knowledge of business process management tools and programming.
    • Knowledge of SAP Materials Management
    • Knowledge of SAP ECC data structures.
    • Eagerness and high energy to observe leadership behaviors, especially Network leadership and a Culture of collaboration.
