As an Customer Service Order Processing / Order Desk Officer you provide full and efficient registration, processing and shipping of the sales orders for our customers. Additionally, you will perform supporting activities to ensure a timely and correct delivery. You will be reporting to the Teamleader Orderdesk and you will work in a team of 5 people in close collaboration with the finance department, customer services and warehouse.
The Orderdesk Officer is responsible for:
Verifying, processing correctly and confirming sales orders on time;
Create new customers (debtors) in the ERP system;
Contact with customers regarding incorrect or incomplete sales orders;
Processing of any return orders in collaboration with finance and logistics departments;
Reviewing and monitoring entered sales orders up to delivery to the customer;
Calculate shipment cost and transit time to provide quote to customer;
Processing credit card payments;
Supporting the finance department by creating invoices for outgoing orders and customs;
Participate in the weekly team meeting and daily stand-ups.
The Customer Service Order Processing / Order Desk Employee we are looking for works full-time and is accurate and used to handle a large number of orders. You have a good sense of responsibility and a feeling for back office service. You can communicate well in Dutch and English in a business environment. You are used to working with ERP software, this organization uses Exact Globe for order processing.
Secondary vocational education (MBO);
Minimum of 2-3 years working experience in comparable working environments;
Proficient in Dutch* (spoken and written);
English native or fluent (spoken and written);
Excellent calculating skills;
MS Office and experience with ERP software. You have an advantage with the knowledge of Exact Globe
