For our office in Amsterdam, we are currently looking for a full-time Customer Service Agent - Airfreight.
You will be the first point of contact between our subsidiaries, carriers and our overseas/local partners and clients. Managing Import and Export shipments from A to Z and carry the responsibility in designing, planning and orchestrating shipping processes in a (cost) efficient and effective way.
1.Coordinate and manage Import/Export shipments by bridging, liaison between suppliers, partners and clients; 2.Take care of required import and export documentations accurately; 3.Process bookings with transporters and airlines; 4.Issue and process Airway Bills; 5.Follow-up and inform customers of booking and shipping statuses; 6.Solve logistics complexity during import/export process.
1.1-2 years experience in airfreight import/export, Logistics and/or International Trade; 2.Excellent in written and spoken English. Dutch/German/Mandarin Chinese would be a plus; 3.Commercial driven and client oriented with close attention to details; 4.Proactive with strong organization and communication skills; 5.Able to prioritize and multi-task; 6.Able to work in a fast-moving business industry 7.Willing to learn and open for new challenges 8.Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; 9.IATA and/or ADR DG Certification is preferred
