    CRO Specialist / Growth Hacker

bloomon is turning the flower industry on its head – for the better. How? By disrupting the traditional supply chain, where most florists operate offline and have done for decades. bloomon creates seasonal collections using unusual stems to deliver unique flower arrangements on repeat. We always use field-fresh high-quality flowers straight from the grower and deliver to our customers through a high-tech and highly creative platform. Our e-commerce company launched in Amsterdam in 2014 and went from start-up to scale-up at hypersonic speed. We are already active in five countries: the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, UK and Denmark. Next step? to conquer Europe… and then the world. Our goal? To become the first global flower brand in the lifestyle segment, filling hearts and homes with happiness. One bouquet at a time.

    The Role
We are looking for a Growth Hacker / CRO specialist to join our growth team and take on full responsibility for driving bottom-line growth by bringing challenging ideas and optimisations that drive brand, product and business objectives. In this cross-functional role your initial focus will be on setting up, managing and reporting on our A/B experiments. Over time the scope of this role may widen to include other types of growth hacking initiatives. You’ll be able to learn a lot, and will have exposure to all levels of the organization.
You will be part of the growth squad and report to our UX manager. You will be closely working together with product managers, other UX/UI researchers & designers, copywriters and product analysts. Together with this team you are responsible for optimizing the conversion rate of our most important customer journeys and contributing directly to bloomon’s growth ambitions.

    Primary responsibilities

    • Setup, QA and run A/B tests using Optimizely
    • Guard the quality of our experiment designs. You make sure that regardless of the experiment’s outcome, we will always learn something new.
    • Ensure experiments get up and running at a high speed, while maintaining our high quality bar.
    • Support the product- and marketing teams to interpret, report and share the results with all relevant stakeholders

    Secondary responsibilities

    • Team up with our product analyst to identify the biggest opportunities for growth, identify our key metrics and directly affect the prioritization of the experimentation roadmap
    • Team up with the UX researcher to setup and run usability tests, user interviews and on-site surveys to truly understand why the users behave as they do
    • Provide input on the overall experimentation priorities, tactics and strategy based on your expertise and learnings

What do we expect from you?

    • Previously worked in a similar role at an e-commerce company for 2-4 years
    • Hands-on experience with web analytics and A/B testing tools + a basic understanding of statistics
    • Applicable knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS to be able to setup A/B tests using Optimizely
    • You know what it takes to run an effective conversion rate optimisation program for an e-commerce website and are able to actively contribute improving our growth strategy, tactics and processes.
    • You have a highly curious mindset and an innate interest in learning about customer behavior through both numbers and qualitative data.
    • Domain expertise in UI/UX best practices
    • Sufficient graphic editing skills to be able to modify graphics to create test variations.
    • Fluent in English. (Bonus: you are fluent in either Dutch or German)
    • Bonus: Experience with the Shopify platform.
