Jouw missie
At BAM we will be soon delivering our new strategy. An important driver of BAM’s future success will be the alignment of its business portfolio to maximise value by making use of scale and knowledge.
To achieve this we want to expand the team with a Safety Analyst. In this challenging role you will pro-actively supports BAM’s safety strategy implementation and safety performance.
The Royal BAM Strategy Team is a small, specialised group that advises our Executive Committee, senior business leadership and other corporate stakeholders on driving, assessing and prioritising our company-wide strategic direction.
BAM is a technical company that embraces safety and sustainability to prepare for the future. Within the safety and sustainability department, you will be part of a small team in an international working environment. This department is continuously developing and expanding its focus into areas such as health and wellbeing and biodiversity. Within this role, you are challenged to further shape the company’s strategy, for example by prioritizing and managing strategic initiatives and by focusing on future target setting in the areas of safety and sustainability. As a safety analyst you can respond dynamically to new situations and changing demands.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Validating, processing and reporting safety data, for example in quarterly reports and BAM’s Integrated Report;
- Improve reporting process to enhance data quality and reporting process efficiency;
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with BAM’s operating companies to ensure timely and accurate data collection;
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and overarching data insights;
- Coordinate and monitor BAM’s internal Safety Behaviour Audits;
- Coordinate and monitor BAM’s internal Safety Exchanges.
Wat breng je mee?
- A MSc or equivalent qualification relevant to analysing data;
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience;
- Passionate about safety analytics and business improvements;
- Excellent analytical and data manipulation skills;
- Knowledge of and/or eager to learn more about analytical/statistical software (SAP-BPC, Excel, PowerBI would be a pre);
- Ability to work within a team environment and as an individual with minimal supervision (self-starter);
- Fluent communication skills in Dutch & English;
- The role is based at BAM’s headquarters in Bunnik.
