    Compliance and Contract Manager

We operate in a genuinely “lean” environment and the demands and learning opportunities are steep and challenging. We are surrounded by teams of capable and driven professionals who value open and clear communication, delivered quickly.

We are looking to hire a Fluke EMEA Compliance and Contract Specialist who would be a part of the Fortive International Legal and Compliance team, with specific contract management and compliance responsibilities for the Fluke EMEA business. Fluke EMEA businesses have around 800 channel partners.

This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic, international and collaborative team and to experience development and growth first-hand in a truly international business. The International Legal and Compliance team of Fortive is embedded in the business and culture of Fortive’s operating companies and is looking to develop its skills and resources to help the business to continue to proactively serve as trusted partners to its business customers. We are part of the wider Legal and Compliance team of Fortive, but we are sponsored by, accountable to and partner with, business leaders within the international operating companies such as Fluke.

    Your Impact

You will work on implementing Fluke’s updated anti-corruption and anti-bribery programme and applying it to Fluke’s channel partners in the Europe Middle-East and African (EMEA) region. You will also work on implementing Fluke’s 2021 strategic commercial and operational changes in relation to channel partner contracts. This will involve working closely with the sales operations team to create contract management procedures and with the legal and sales teams to update contracts.

Your primary responsibilities will consist of implementing and maintaining a contract management system for all of Fluke EMEA’s business units, ensuring the implementation and maintenance of standard Fortive compliance requirements and Fluke operational requirements into all our contracts with EMEA channel partners. You will be joining a team and will be very well supported and onboarded as part of this team, but there will be an expectation that you will be able to learn quickly, suggest improvements and bring ideas and be able to work on your own as well as with colleagues in our and other teams.

In connection with the implementation of Fluke’s Channel Partner Toolkit compliance programme, you will be responsible for compiling Fluke’s channel partner data, processing due diligence screening, evaluating and analyzing due diligence reports, conducting research, escalating due diligence “red flags” and resolving any necessary control measures; providing administrative support related to Fluke’s compliance training programme; and administering Fluke’s compliance documentation and databases.

Additionally, as part of the International Legal and Compliance Team, you will have the opportunity to assist the lawyers and paralegals with legal matters relating to channel partners, including contract negotiations, review of non-disclosure agreements and contract amendments. The extent of this legal work will depend on your legal background and your interest in development of legal knowledge.

    • Assist with third party due diligence, screening and monitoring by inputting data into web-based screening tool, ordering and reviewing third party reports, conducting research utilizing company’s standard procedures, obtaining additional information from channel partners and escalating any red flags to headquarters for joint resolution.
    • Conduct the Fortive/Fluke compliance programme for channel partners based in EMEA.
    • Work collaboratively with internal departments (sales, finance, legal, HR).
    • Coordinate and provide administrative assistance with on-line channel partner compliance training, and maintain training documentation, tracking, records, certifications and attendance databases.
    • Provide high quality customer service to internal clients when responding to compliance-related questions or issues.
    • Assist in distributing communications regarding compliance and ethics issues and initiatives.
    • Update channel partner contract templates and assist with developing new contract management procedures and policies.
    • Issue standard channel partner agreements and implement simple amendments to those.
    • Review channel partner codes of conduct.
    • Issue manufacturer authorizations for channel partners and other parties in relation to tenders.
    • Assist with terminating the appointment of channel partners.
    • Perform other administrative and clerical duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
    • Once you are properly acquainted with the Fortive/Fluke Compliance programme, there will be scope to develop and deliver training to sales and external partners with respect to the requirements of the programme.
