The Comparator Senior Manager – Strategic Clients:
The Comparator function is a key service within the Clinical Supply Chain division. The Comparator Senior Manager is responsible for the portfolio management of strategic clients for Comparator Services with a strong relationship with members of the Ancillary Management and Clinical Study Team. This includes fostering relationships, supporting the sales team, monitoring success, anticipating client needs, gaining market share and individualizing approach to our clients while building long-term customer relations. You are responsible for the development and fostering of opportunities and synergies across all service line offerings as an overall goal in meeting our client’s needs. The role is a remote home-based position and you can be based anywhere within Europe.
Manage the portfolio of strategic accounts. Be the central point of contact in the region to the regional commercial team for answering and advising on clients’ requests, such as RFQs and RFIs.
Be the Subject Matter Expert in Global Comparator knowledge for the commercial team in giving advisory support on comparator sourcing and supply chain, providing timely and accurate information, especially around milestones that need to be kept meeting project timelines, as well as any questions or challenges related to the project.
Track, communicate and analyze opportunities wins and loss. Identify and recommend solutions and actions to address client loss scenarios.
Own the design of the sourcing solution and strategy in collaboration with comparator sourcing team and the project manager.
Coordinate the response from the comparator client service team to the commercial team and our customers.
Support as needed for sourcing or logistics for the execution of our clients’ projects.
Contribute in the recruitment, on boarding, training and development of employees.
Present at trade shows, exhibitions, workshops and seminars.
Participates in sales and marketing activities such as customer’s study, kickoffs, QBRs, teleconferences, customer visits and white papers.
Conduct market research and trend analysis reporting for the region on clients’ pipelines.
5 years' experience within the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent would be preferred.
Experience in pharmaceutical R&D and in clinical pharmaceutical supply chain would be an advantage.
Familiarity with commercial supply chain of pharmaceuticals preferred.
High Level of business acumen in both administration and business strategies.
In-depth Knowledge of the Global Comparator Business.
Excellent Client Relationship Management.
Strong organizational skill set.
Proficiencies with Microsoft Office or Adobe Products.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and exercises good judgement and appropriate discretion when reaching conclusions.
