Commercial Controller FrieslandCampina Professional
In this senior commercial controlling role you will work at FrieslandCampina Professional, a recently established operating company serving professional customers worlwide. You will act as financial business partner to different Sales and Marketing teams, within the sales channel Industry. This unit serves B2B customers (brand and private label manufacturers, as well as component suppliers and distributors) in the EMEA, Lat-Am, and N-Am regions, with local sales presence. The main challenges of this role are twofold: help the organisation through a complex transition period without losing sight of the daily running business, and in the same time drive and realize ambitious growth targets.
What we ask

Strong business/commercial acumen, while remaining analytical and critcal to challenge commercial assumptions, address deviations from plan and drive corrective actions;
At least 6-8 years of relevant business controlling experience, incl. at least 2-3 years in commercial controlling;
Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related fields;
Systems knowledge: experience with SAP and Oracle HFM is a plus. Proficient knowledge of MS Excel and Powerpoint required;
Experience with complex reporting processes;
Feeling accountable, hands-on.

Your accountabilities and responsibilities include:
Acting as a sparring partner for our Sales and Marketing teams, by analyzing, interpreting and advising on financial data and results;
Being fully involved in the finance month-close process, to make sure decisions are made based on the right figures;
Developing monitoring tools and reports for result tracking;
Preparing monthly financial outlooks;
Taking a leading role in drafting business cases for issues such as capacity optimization and new product development;
Contributing to the optimization of financial systems and tools;
Being fully involved in a variety of multi-disciplinary improvement projects;
Coaching and developing younger colleagues.
To succeed, you will not only need the ability to analyze data, but also sell the message and put changes into motion. While creating overview, you also will regularly dive deep into the business and use your interpersonal skills to build relationships with, and influence a variety of people. This does require a degree of organizational sensitivity, in addition to an open and persuasive manner of communicating.
