As the Customer & Market Insights (CMI) Business Partner – Europe and Asia Pacific, you will effectively turn insights into action through superior customer understanding. Identify areas where the regions could benefit from customer insights, pro-actively share business recommendations based on available insights and/or initiate new market research or analysis projects
Reporting into the Head of Customer & Market Insights Business Partners, within the Global Marketing Team, you will have the opportunity to be a central part in a rapidly expanding business in a world class company. You will enhance our marketing research, analytics and reporting ecosystem to help us make better business decisions and help improve diagnostic care for millions of pets around the world.
What you can expect in this role:
As the CMI Business Partner for Europe and Asia Pacific, you will:
Create and manage the Regional insights and analytics roadmap (integrated into the global roadmap) and assure appropriate funding with excellence. This will entail:
An iterative process to articulate the key questions, needs, gaps, opportunities requiring customer research or data analysis,
Principle based prioritization of the requests and the funding
Filtering and managing ad-hoc requests while keeping the relationship going with the region
Synthesize sources such as competitive intelligence, pricing, market/industry trends, customer needs and analytics to enrich regional go-to-market strategies
Share and activate global insights: create clear and relevant linkage to regional business strategies or targeted market opportunities and ensure follow-up to capture learnings and impact .
In a pro-active manner share actionable, regional business recommendations based on available market, customer and competitive insights and analytics.
Represent the voice of our customer in all top tier projects and strategic meetings and ensure the inclusion of the customers’ voice in key decisions. Leverage among others regional customer panels
Work together with Regional Marketing to evangelize, ingrain and implement a Data Driven Insights culture across the organization
Bringing the customer to life in an impactful way, delivering actionable insight and deep consumer understanding of motivations, attitudes and behaviors through in-depth customer segmentation and personas
Initiate and activate regional research and analytics projects from start to end, ensuring the optimal use of best practices, and involving the relevant Market Research & Analytics Centers of Excellence where applicable.
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
You bring at least 5+ years of experience in marketing and/or market research/analytics
You have work experience in the healthcare diagnostics and/or pharma industry
You possess a sound business and commercial acumen. This gives you the ability to identify needs and bring relevant facts where required, in a prompt manner.
You are experienced with marketing/business strategy development
You are comfortable with several types of market research, analytics, competitive intelligence
You master the art of collaboration and interpersonal skills with different levels in the organization
You have proven success working with the European and Asia Pacific regions and also globally, across time zones, cultures and geographies
Skills and Abilities that will help you navigate in this role:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Any other language from the European and Asian Pacific regions are a plus
Strategic and conceptual thinking, with a hands-on mentality
Ability to prioritize and maintain focus
Excellent attention to detail and orientation toward meticulous work
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Able to represent the customers voice at different levels within the organization
Capability to drive tasks to completion with speed in a dynamic business environment
