At Veeam, Cloud and Hosting Systems Engineers work closely with sales and help to evangelize our product offerings to our customers, partners, and Cloud and Hosting providers. Grow along with Veeam while gaining valuable experience in the hottest area within IT today. These positions require significant travel within the region of responsibility.
Working with sales to help secure and grow business with new and existing end-user customers, partner and Cloud or Hosting providers.
Collaborate with the customer/partner to establish and translate business objectives into technical requirements
Providing web-based and on-site demonstrations of Veeam product portfolio
Implement and manage POCs to technical closure
Working closely with Veeam¹s value added Cloud and Hosting providers, including training, enablements, joint meetings, and relationships
Providing pre-sales support and/or on-site installation assistance to customers as they evaluate Veeam software
Support lead generation activities such as events, webinars, user groups, etc.
Guides others in resolving complex issues in specialized area based on existing solutions or procedures
Required Skills & Experience:
Deployment of software solutions into complex environments
Deep experience with VMware Virtual Infrastructure
Experience on Microsoft Hyper-V, and Systems Center
Significant experience with public and private cloud infrastructures
Have knowledge and experience of Microsoft Azure and/or AWS
Have basic knowledge of Openstack platform
Have experience with orchestration and automation tools (including scripting and usage of APIs)
VMCE certification would be advantageous- employees have the opportunity to obtain VMCE and also VMCA once in the role
Be comfortable to position and engage discussion around Cloud technologies
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be fluent in Dutch and English (verbally & written)
French language skills desirable
Be comfortable presenting to groups, both remotely and in person
Be available to travel consistently
Be a self-starter with the ability to learn new technologies quickly
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where roles and responsibilities change quickly
Be comfortable in using social media to help promote and grow the Veeam community
