As our new Clinical Trial Manager - Team Manager MIDI you will be responsible for the leadership and future direction of the CTM team, as well as accountable for team excellence and productivity in line with MIDI/Corporate harmonization strategies.
This position is currently located in our office in Amsterdam RAI. We will move to the EDGE Amsterdam West in early 2022, a very modern architecture with a sophisticated technology platform, which makes the building remarkably healthy and sustainable. You will report directly to the Head of Clinical Operations MIDI.

Your key responsibilities:
Build and maintain a high performing Clinical Trial Manager team and ensure that team members are aware of their accountability, responsibilities and deliverables
Ensure optimal planning, oversight, resourcing, execution and delivery of the clinical trials
Create an environment that inspires, motivates and empowers colleagues within the Clinical Development & Operation (CD&O) to accelerate clinical trial timelines and to create value for patients.
Certify clinical trials allocated to MIDI are conducted within the agreed timelines, quality and budget, and issues are escalated and followed up in a timely manner.
Be responsible for the talent identification, development and retention
Identify innovations and synergies internally and externally, develops further the MIDI concept – Implement new systems, processes and corporate strategy
Ensure site and patient engagement strategy are embedded in the clinical trials
Foster continuous improvement and innovation by cross functional collaborative approaches that creates solutions for clinical trial delivery and execution
Support acquisition of new trials and projects together with Head Clinical Operations MIDI
What you should bring to the team:
Master’s degree in Life Sciences (e.g. medicine, pharmacy/pharmacology…) or other related field
At least 5 years of previous experience in Clinical Drug Development/Clinical Operations in a Pharmaceutical Industry or Contract Research Organizations
Excellent command of the English language is mandatory
Solid experience in leading teams including managers
Good Project Management, Multi-stakeholder management and communication skills
Potential to lead multi-country projects and engage project members
High level of problem-solving capabilities and ability to identify/execute pragmatic solutions
Strong ability to prioritize and a structured working style with high level of accuracy
Proactive personality with winning spirit and team player with positive attitude who builds trust and actively encourages experimentation
