    Who are we
    At Leadingcourses we have created a community of golf lovers who help each other to create a transparent, qualitative and complete overview of all golf courses in the world. We provide a cutting-edge platform for golfers which helps them to choose, book and share their next golf experience to support other golfers and we are a marketing platform for golf courses to gain valuable feedback and attract additional income. Over the last couple of years we have become a key player in the digital revolution of golf courses throughout the world. Every month, more than 400 thousand golf players review and instantly book one of our 25 thousand golf courses, listed on our platform. Our large community of golf players trust our platform for directly booking tee times and full golf experiences, including accommodation. The platform is fully localised and translated in 9 languages and used by golf players from over 151 countries.

    Job profile
    First and foremost, we're looking for people who are excited about what we're doing - you don't need to know anything about golf, but should be excited to learn. As our Chief Revenue Officer you will create and drive the execution of our strategic revenue plan by aligning our revenue generating departments (marketing, supply and customer success). You have profound knowledge of online marketplaces and network effects. Furthermore, in order to create sustainable growth, you monitor and adjust our revenue pipeline. In the coming period you will be mainly focusing on market expansion (demand), and implement a data-driven revenue strategy. As part of the management team (which currently consists of a CEO, CFO and COO) you will manage the marketing and sales team and report directly to our CEO.

    This list is not exhaustive at all, and you'll have a lot of autonomy over your work. Ultimately, we're looking for someone with enough experience to tell us what we need to do to be successful — not someone that we assign to various marketing tasks. We are looking for a leader.


    In order to be successful you have

    • A bachelor’s degree in a business related field;
    • 5+ years of proven experience in direct sales (B2C) and as Chief Revenue Officer or similar leadership role at a marketplace SaaS company;
    • Experience in driving revenue growth through new product development, cross-channel marketing, branding and partnerships;
    • A strong business acumen and the ability to think strategically;
    • Thought leadership skills that easily moves others to action by planning, motivating, organizing and controlling work being done;
    • Willingness - especially in the beginning - to get ‘your hands dirty’ as well. So, a hands-on approach is needed;
    • Passion for thinking broadly and creatively about problems and how to solve them efficiently;
    • A broad understanding of systems, processes and how to scale a marketing strategy globally;
    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to monitor, analyze and measure experiment results
    • Familiarity with common tools of the trade, like Google Analytics
