    Payments are a vital part in delivering the ‘connected trip’ to our customers. Ensuring that customers and merchants experience a frictionless payment experience whether they are booking flights, accommodations, rides or experiences. In that context, the Payments department has worked hard in the past years to create delightful payment experiences for bookers and merchants. Payments (300+FTE) is a rapidly growing area within, experiencing 100%+ annual transaction growth. In the past few years, we have invested heavily in building a scalable Payments foundation to serve the growth of platform.

    In order to turn this vision into reality we are looking for an experienced Fintech & Payments Product Leader! This Chief Product Officer will be responsible for setting the product vision, strategy & roadmap of the entire business unit. Your responsibilities will span both the customer and the partner side of our marketplace. You will work with many other departments and our sister brands (Agoda, Kayak, Priceline & OpenTable) to bring to market new capabilities. You are responsible for leading a track composed of several teams that develop products and constantly innovate to delight our customers and partners.

    Reports to: VP Payments, Daniel Marovitz

    Direct reports: 3 Group Product Managers, 2 Senior Product Marketing Managers, 1 Technical Program Manager, 1 Senior Manager DS&A, a total team of apx 50fte

    Key Responsibilities:

    You Will:

    • Lead the Payments & Fintech Product & design team of 40+ FTEs (+180 Tech) that sets out the future Product & Business direction of Fintech & Payments at
    • Work hand in hand with Technology organization to ensure a high quality product development process
    • Set out a global product vision and product strategy for the future of’s Payments strategy & Booking Holdings Fintech activities
    • Build out the right Product suite to drive the growth of’s core hotel business
    • Together with the Product teams, build a Product roadmap that is visible to the Payments track and our internal customers
    • Build strong relationships and a clear engagement model with Booking payments internal clients (Hotel business, regulated payments entity, different products teams) to ensure that we enable their growth & manage their expectations
    • Work together with the different brands within the Booking Holdings Group (Agoda,, Opentable, Priceline) on where & how to build joint group products
    • Provide regular reporting on key Product performance indicators to’s leadership team
    • Together with our public policy team, proactively engage with key partners & stakeholders in the Payments ecosystem about regulation (e.g. PSD2) and other key developments
    • Work closely with our Payments partnership team to create a strong collaboration with existing payments suppliers (e.g. PSPs) and source new partners


    • You are a Fintech & product leader with 10+ years of product management experience with a successful track record of scaling products & organizations. Ideally you have experience with the specific payments challenges that marketplaces deal with
    • You are commercially minded and entrepreneurial - you want to grow a business.
    • You have ambitions to do something that is globally visible and has an impact on hundreds of millions of people.
