    We are looking for a Chemical Researcher who is passionate about UV inkjet technology for and development of high-quality Graphic Art prints

    This position focuses on the further development of UV inkjet technology for producing high-quality Graphic Art prints. With UV inkjet technology, the ink that has been jetted onto a print medium is cured to form a robust polymerized layer by using illumination with UV light; UV light induces so-called photo-initiation which leads to a polymerization reaction.

    For future products, our client is continuously investing in the development of new features that increase the application width of the products. This requires the right balance between experimental work and fundamental knowledge generation.

    Within your position, as Chemical Researcher, in the UVgel ink group, your main assignment is to:

    • Contribute to investigations to elucidate the ink requirements and ink properties to realize prospective applications and/or to secure proper printer performance
    • Develop new and improve existing measuring methods to map out ink and cured ink layer properties.
    • Carry out ink tests on printers or ink test benches and characterize the ink performance independently and communicate the results in a convincing way to the organization.
    • Collaborate and align with different functions interacting with ink in the printer.

    It is a position with a one year contract via Yacht, after that there is a possibility that our client will offer you to be directly employed. Position for 40 hours a week, no freelancers/ZZP.


    • Bachelor in chemistry/chemical technology or relevant.
    • At least 3 years of work experience preferably in an R&D environment.
    • Experience in the field of material sciences, polymer sciences or formulation is preferred
    • You live max. 1-hour from Venlo
