Johnson & Johnson Vision is seeking an expert Category Manager to join our high energy Benelux team.
In this meaningful role, you will be responsible for developing the contact lens category within specific accounts/channels and developing ACUVUE market share by driving plan aligned with the cluster strategy. This is achieved by constructing robust compelling selling stories based on insight and turning the insight into action to achieve the business. Understands and creates recommendations for the main drivers of activity that produce both category and share growth. You will work with large multiple retailers (Key Accounts) in multiple channels and work cross functionally with multiple stake holders both internally and externally.
The BeNeLux team is part of the FB Cluster team which include France and Benelux. In this context, you will be part of the France and Benelux marketing team reporting to the Marketing Manager Benelux and working in strong collaboration with the local Key account Managers. The Job is based in Amersfoort.
Develops customer specific category/shopper insight driven plans with clear actions to drive customer/ACUVUE growth.
Oversees the development and implantation of customer specific promotional programs in conjunction with customer development and accordingly to JJV/cluster strategy
Analysis of customer specific promotions vs. agreed KPI’s delivering key learnings and recommendations to the business.
Customer marketing : Brand ambassador / Bring brand and category strategy live to the customer
Deliver ‘best in class’ in-store execution to drive awareness of the contact lens category and ACUVUE and Integrate Digital and DataBase management in the Join Business Plan with customers
Creates and delivers compelling, differentiated customer-selling stories that position JJVC as category thought leaders.
Builds effective and efficient relationships with agencies to ensure optimization of in-store execution.
Builds effective customer relationships at a manager level, independent to the commercial lead.
University Degree (Marketing, International business or similar)
Experience and Skills
Successful previous marketing and category management experience (3y+) including Digital Project management
Commercial acumen, able to understand and positively impact business performance and drive for growth by developing robust business cases with a relentless focus on KPIs and metrics. Sales experience to be highly considered
Excellent communication, presentation, and social skills; the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences
Capacity to turn data into synthetic and meaningful insihts
Dutch native or fluent / English fluent
MS Office (Excel, PWP, Outlook, Access...)
Cross-functional experience in marketing/market research, etc.
Experience with healthcare and/or optical domain and/or FMCG
Strong Influence Skills and Results orientation
Understanding of their customer needs and market needs
Business knowledge & Good understanding of competitor strategy, plans and activities in their given market
Strong analytical skills
Self-motivated- Willing to learn
