We’re on the hunt for a Category Leader in our Category & Buying Team, one of the key pillars of Recharge’s future growth. It’s a highly visible role, reporting directly into the Director Category & Buying, Jeroen Siegerink.
The role of Category Leader is a cross-over between the FMCG approach to category management, pricing and partnership management. It will involve creating a relevant assortment, improving performance with the Marketing team, strategizing together with the Expansion and Business Development team and liaising with brand partners about growing their categories.
What you have
At least 6 years working experience and a proven track record in FMCG, Ecommerce, Global Sales, Remittance or Giftcards market ideally within the FMCG domain
Partnership management skills
International experience and mindset
Strong communication, project management and analytical skills
Proactive, getting-it-done mentality
Curiosity! An open mind and interest for change to drive new ideas, to understand, new cultures, to implement opportunities
Business development experience is a plus
You will work on things like
Category vision for Shopping, Bill Payment and (international) Call Credit & Data
Identifyng key opportunities and challenges for each category and translates this into strategic growth of the business
Improving performance together with Marketing teams
Coaching and developing Category Manager Call Credit
