Job Purpose: - Monitor incoming emails, and reply in a timely manner, ensuring an efficient customer service is provided. - Deal with telephone enquiries from our cargo clients and ensure that all bookings are entered into the EK system correctly. - Ensure all post-flight details are relayed to the customer promptly. - Ensure all the end-of-month filing of flight files, tracking messages are kept up-to-date. - Ensure permanent bookings are entered into the system and monitored on a regular basis to guarantee their usage. - Respond to queries from internal departments e.g. Head Office departments and overseas outstations requiring special handling/attention. - Liaise with the sales support team with filing of spot quotes into the EK booking system. - Carry out tasks as directed by the Cargo Customer Services Supervisor
Qualifications & Experience: - Educated to MBO standard or equivalent - Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Air Cargo or Logistics - Knowledge of Computerized reservations/ tracking systems advantageous - Good concept of Customer Service - Must have a high level of attention to detail, demonstrate a flexible approach and proven ability to work in a team. - Proficient in MS Office. - Pleasant telephone manner and ability to communicate effectively at all levels in both written and spoken Dutch and English.
