You are part of the Business Transformation function, which is an enabling function within Philips. You will be an active member of the Connected Care Business Transformation team. You will report to the Business Transformation Leader of Connected Care Cluster (based in Amsterdam).
You are responsible for leading and executing the change results to drive adoption and a balanced change, based on the Connected Care transformation agenda, using the standard Philips change management methodology. In addition, you are supporting the leaders and key roles in the organization to build their proficiency in leading and managing change & transition.
You are an A player, the driving force which create the culture and capability of continuous improvement across the Connected Care Businesses using known methodologies of Lean (incl. SAFe), Philips Change and Project Management methodology. As Ambassador of the Philips Excellence principles and tools you will inspire and work together with the teams in the businesses to improve ways of working, eliminate waste and solve real business problems delivering real, tangible and sustainable business results
This means you:
Are passionate to fully serve the consumer and customer and always outperform competition.
Take the lead to design, develop, and implement the lean improvement roadmap for businesses and cluster-driven programs, linked to the Connected Care strategic priorities.
Assess key business metrics and situations from a “Leader's” point of view and engage with the management team members and their teams helping them to find opportunities where Lean (Philips Excellence capabilities) can be used to improve such metrics and situations.
Support the businesses and cluster-driven programs in resolving issues, using the known Philips Excellence Tools
Coach employees in applying the Philips Excellence Tools (incl. Agile/CI/CM/PM/SAFe) and work together with the teams in closing knowledge and competence gaps where vital.
Take pride in leading the organization to step-up in operational excellence
Ensuring Kaizen events and projects are properly planned / executed / sustained.
Creating innovations and services to truly address consumer needs
Provide outstanding communication at all levels, with the ability to act with tact, discretion and subtlety.
Mentor and develop employees to become LEAN champions in the businesses.
Are an “outside of the box” problem solver capable of delivering breakthrough
Are comfortable in dealing with ambiguity and operating in a matrix organization
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
8+ years of business process and performance improvement experience in complex cross-functional organizations and/or environments
Lean Master / Master Black Belt / Agile or SAFe master certification is required
Master’s Degree in Business Management/Science/Engineering highly preferred
Proven track record to manage a program or project across business, markets, functions and deliver outcomes through others with excellent influencing skills
Demonstrated ability to independently lead and encourage leaders, turnaround teams and businesses by driving continuous improvement and change management with compassion and interpersonal skills
Ability to execute and deliver fact-based analysis using rich data sets.
Excellent project management skills
You have a positive attitude, always!
Flexible towards travel (up to 25%), mainly within the assigned region, but also globally
Fluent in English is a must, other languages are an advantage.
