    Business Planner

    Marketing Business Planner for the Home Entertainment & Sound team

    Job Purpose

    The Marketing Business Planner is responsible for the forecasting and sell-thru management for the assigned specific product groups.

    The Marketing Business Planner works closely with the marketing- and sales department and with the Supply Chain team. The Marketing Business Planner will challenge, secure and optimize the account wise demand for the assigned products within the given marketing strategy defined by the Benelux and Pan-European Product Marketing team.

    Considering the latest sell-in & sell-thru trend and market dynamics the Marketing Business Planner makes sure to have best in class forecast accuracy and optimal country- and account wise allocation to secure sell-thru.

    As a core part of the Pan-European Product Marketing (PPM) strategy, the Marketing Business Planner also supports the follow-up and actual ranging, stock and sell-thru reporting for the assigned products and is key driver of the complete End-Of-Life product transition within the country. All in conjunction with the assigned Product Managers.

    The Marketing Business Planner reports to the Marketing Manager (Benelux).

    Key Responsibilities & Scope for Decision Making

    • Manage the local product and account wise forecasting and supports the Product Managers
    • Forecasting lead
    • Account wise Model Ranging follow up with sales and marketing department
    • Rotation monitoring versus Budget planning
    • Reporting of weekly Sell-out progress
    • Support the Supply Chain team in optimizing the sales potential
    • Leading the End-Of-Life product transition
    • Perform the necessary analyses related to the sell-in & sell-thru trend, product-account allocation and the required reporting

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor or master’s degree in economics, business (administration), marketing or sales related.
    • Commercially driven with good analytical and communication skills
    • Proactive and with entrepreneurial mind set
    • Ambitious and with professional appearance
    • Knowledge of consumer marketing / supply chain is desirable
    • Excellent knowledge of English and Dutch spoken & written
