You will become part of the Business Group DSM Resins and Functional Materials. We create high-performing resins for paints and coatings based on a broad and unmatched technology toolbox. We were the first company to launch UV-curable coatings - a crucial ingredient in today’s high-speed fiber-optic cables (and we remain the market leader). And we’re also the inventors of Niaga®, a unique design technology that makes carpets and mattresses (and potentially many more products) 100% recyclable.
You will work for the business Energy Curable Solutions (part of the Business Group DSM Resins and Functional Materials). Our ambition is to transform our UV business to become a market-led, customer driven, developer of sustainable innovations. Recently we combined our UV know-how into one strong global UV platform, this UV platform will provide new solutions and products to grow our UV Resins business. In order to strengthen our Energy Curable Solutions Business, we are looking for a:
Manager Strategic Partnerships & Monomer Business Manager
Your areas of responsibilities:
Manage our monomer business, by doing so maximize the value of our monomer business
Manage and develop Partnerships to become an integral part of our supply base and offering to our customers.
Internally lead a cross functional team, including regulatory affairs and supply chain, procurement and finance on monomer steering
Develop and manage the relationships with the sales teams in EMEA, NA and ASIA to be well informed on the relationships and demand of our customers and by doing so have an in-depth overview of the market
With the internal expert set the agenda for Competitor intelligence, Commercial Excellence and marketing communications.
The Ideal profile:
More than 10 years working experience in the field of sales, purchasing, marketing or technical service
Strong technical acumen: affinity to understand the technical properties of our products
Strong commercial understanding and the ability to understand costumer processes
Key account management experience
Creative and dynamic approach to markets
Joy and experience in working on a cross-functional team environment (matrix organization)
Self-propelling (being able to act independently)
Ambitious and talented team player
Strong communication skills
Good project management and coordination skills
Strong intercultural skills
Europe (Netherlands) or Taiwan (Taipei)
