In this newly created role you’ll be partnering closely with the CEO and Marketing lead to establish and lead our growth strategy with a focus on expanding our business in The Netherlands and UK.
Develop and implement our growth strategy
Partner with Leadership to set business objectives and development goals
Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a potential client to securing a deal
Enable new opportunities through networking, marketing & sales strategies
Identify and explore new business opportunities, incl partnerships, products and services
Manage the RFP and tender process
Organise and lead demo’s and business meetings with new customers
Remain in regular contact with your clients to understand and meet their needs
Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data in our CRM
Identify and monitor developments/trends to stay ahead of the curve
Collaborate with client success to ensure delivery of high quality service
Collaborate with marketing to create processes, tools and materials
Establish strategic partnership with other companies to leverage on their network
Conduct market & customer research
Requirements for this role
Value driven business development lead with a strong network in recruitment/HR (or someone with a Recruitment/HR background who is commercially savvy)
Min 3 years experience in a international startup or similar high-growth environment
Entrepreneurial mindset, strong business acumen with a continuous drive to improve
Strong stakeholder management skill with a natural ability to build credibility quickly
Excellent interpersonal/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
Data-driven with the ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution
Proactive, strong organizational and time-management skills
Start-up hustle mentality combined with a strategic and creative mind
Passionate about making a meaningful impact and helping others
Good understanding of the start-up ecosystem in NL & UK
Fluent in English written and spoken
Preferable (not a must)
Experience with international recruitment or global talent management
Personal experience of living and/or working overseas
Good understanding of the Dutch language
Previously lived/worked in the UK
Knowledge of CRM software, eg. Salesforce, Hubspot
