The Business IT Consultant, Tech Foundation (integrations, APIs, Data), is the focal point for solving complex technology & integration problems in specific domains. The scope of integration includes all interfaces to and from the applications and involves the coordination of activities across EMEA. The role is positioned within the Technology Foundation team in IT. The focus of this team is on Integrations, Data Mgmt, APIs, PaaS, Robotics, Document Management etc.

As a member of the Canon IT Technology Foundation team, Business IT Consultant (Tech Foundation) you are responsible for:
Carrying ownership of Integrations/API & Data Architecture & Designs for any one of the domains such as Digital, CRM, Sales & Support, Order Management, Logistics, Offers & Contracts, MDM etc
Supporting the stream in all aspects of process/IT and advice on best fitting process/IT solutions specifically around Foundation functions such as Integrations & Data, Document Management & Robotics Process automation.
Acting as end-to-end coordinator for a process/IT ensuring stakeholder management, delivery management and execution
Assist Lead BIC in developing project plan including budgets, timelines and forecast. Compare operational progress against planned project objectives and suggest corrective actions for variances
Taking complete ownership of Integration requirements & design by focussing on Architecture & Design compliance
Participating in building technical capabilities, integration strategy & architecture, service governance etc
Translating business requirements into IT solution designs; provide expertise in the design of solutions. Coordinating providers in creating the solution, supporting business in UAT and business implementation of the solution

Education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field. Masters Degree is a plus.
At least 10-12 years’ experience in projects across geographies, focusing on various facets of integration- Real time integrations with focus on APIs/SOA/ESB and Data Integrations (batch integrations and data migrations).
Experience in Digital technologies, Cloud to Cloud integration using iPaaS & API Management solutions will be a plus.
Experience in at least one of the following:
IBM BPM/ BAW or earlier on Websphere Process Server, WID, MB
API Management/ PaaS using IBM Cloud/ Azure etc.
Informatica PowerCenter, PowerExchange
Background in integrated enterprise software landscape with Oracle EBS R12, Siebel, ATG, Salesforce, Oracle Commerce, MDM etc in a multi-disciplined IT setup.
Knowledge of TOGAF, Enterprise Architecture, SOA, CDM, Service Governance, Data Integration, Data Management and related areas.
Knowledge of JSON, REST, XML technologies (such as XSD and XSLT), Web Technologies (such as SOAP and WSDL), Messaging (JMS), WS* standards, and WS-I profile
Exceptional problem-solving and sound-decision making capabilities, recognized by alternative solutions, and confident, accurate, decision-making coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to organize and lead meetings, set out actions and perform progress control on deliverables. Be the escalation point for issues which are raised by project team members
