A professional IT organisation is crucial to achieve this goal and is therefore working on a transition to strengthen its position to be able to adapt to changing business demand and to operate more decisive in executing IT projects and business transition projects. The IT Business Partnering team is part of Digital Information Services and plays a key role in these developments.
To strengthen Digital Information Services at BAM PPP and to accelerate our company’s digital transformation we are looking for an experienced Business Information Analyst. As Business Information Analyst you will support the continuous improvement of the current IT setup and the ongoing digitalisation of BAM PPP. Since Digital Information Services is a relatively small and new function for BAM PPP (supported by Group IT), you will be the BAM PPP point of contact at operational level in relation to, and working on initiatives across, the entire IT domain ranging from infrastructure through application services to service delivery. You will also contribute to further development of this function within BAM PPP.
To be effective in this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the BAM PPP organisation. You understand their interests, processes and information requirements, you know their objectives and priorities. You have good knowledge of BAM PPP’s market and processes. You are a ‘trusted advisor’ on digitalisation to realise added value in business operations. You are able to create an IT environment where BAM PPP staff are keen to continuously improve their IT literacy and have the tools and trainings available to do so. A key component of this environment is Microsoft 365, as BAM PPP is about to fully embrace this platform and its benefits. With your experience and knowledge of Microsoft 365 you are able to support the migration, user training and future development of this platform in collaboration with expert users within the company.
Naturally, you will collaborate with relevant stakeholders from other operating companies and Group IT, also to identify and further develop potential synergies. This is because another important objective for the Digital Information Services team is the rationalisation of BAM’s application portfolio. To this end you will have a prominent role in the implementation of the Application Portfolio Management process. With the periodic functional and technical classification of business applications you provide important input for the Business Information Plan that reflects the long-term information needs and roadmap of the business.
Your role will include but will not be exclusive to:
Supporting the organisation with functional and technical questions regarding IT;
Developing functional requirements and functional designs for BAM PPP’s IT initiatives;
Advocating and communicating BAM PPP’s IT requirements within the Group IT organisation;
Supporting the implementation and future development of a custom Microsoft 365 setup;
Supporting the implementation of (Group) IT projects within BAM PPP;
Classifying the functional and technical value of business applications and identifying improvement opportunities;
Coordinating the provisioning of training and tools, for continuous improvement of the IT literacy and efficiency of BAM PPP.
Wat breng je mee?
We are looking for a proactive and ambitious Business Information Analyst with a completed university degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Computer Science for example. You will have at least 3 years of relevant work experience and demonstrate affinity with process and information analysis. As Group IT is working on an Agile Transformation, experience with Scaled Agile processes such as SAFe will be an advantage.
Continuous improvement is in your DNA. You have proven yourself in digitising business processes and commitment to innovative technology for new business propositions. You are analytically strong and able to convert business issues and ideas into requirements and functional designs for which technical solutions are adapted, purchased, or developed. You proactively identify bottlenecks, opportunities and threats at the interface of business operations and information provisioning and you advise on this. With your enthusiasm you support the successful implementation of technical solutions and contribute to further developing the IT function within BAM PPP.
You are naturally connecting and building strong relationships with others, demonstrating strong emotional intelligence and an ability to communicate clearly and persuasively. Due to your strong social skills you are able to form bonds within the organisation, enabling you to become a serious sparring partner. You dare to ask critical questions and continue to query where others stop. Working independently is not a problem for you, just as working in a team.
You have strong written and oral expression skills in English, and preferably Dutch and German. Limited international travel will be required. BAM PPP has offices in London, Birmingham, Brussels, Bunnik, Dublin, Frankfurt, Cologne and Glasgow. Place of employment is The Netherlands (Bunnik) and you will report to the IT Business Partner for BAM PPP, also located in The Netherlands.
