    Job Description

    In this role, you have the opportunity to

    Support the business leader and the preparation and consolidation of the BMC plans, and the delivery of the short-term P&L across the International markets and across the different business categories

    The BDM will own, create and improve the BMC plans and ensure that they are realized globally. You will be responsible for key financial and key enabler metrics of the BMC plans in the year and aggressively growing the top and bottom lines. Prepare and plan, together with the sales channels and global product management, the market introduction of the new products, including promotion material and product information, in order to generate the largest impact in the market. Lead a team that drives success across all BMC geographic regions.

    You are responsible for

    • Leading the coordination of the BMC planning and BMC enabler process in line with the Business SPOR with a selected set of international markets (Note: Business Leader is responsible for the final BMC plan and makes the handshake with the BM&S leader in the market)

    • Acting as agent of alignment and harmonization between B and M and first line of internal customer service towards the M

    • Consolidating the BMC plans and -enablers on behalf of the business leaders and advices on optimal allocation of resources (prioritization of BMC enablers across the markets) for Business Leader to sign off

    • Tracking cross-category and cross-market the delivery of key enablers on the DM board and drives corrective action where needed

    • Acting as the pricing officer on behalf of the Business (double-hat) and drives the line chart process across the business (gathering the content input from the category leaders)

    • Delivering the x-category global promo strategy for the business based on a solid understanding of promo effectiveness to support markets on promo calendar planning

    • Ensuring with the market the delivery of the bottom-up P&L and is the first point of contact for the market BMM for problem solving when actual business results deviate vs plan

    • Driving new business development for the business, such as launching a new category in an existing market or launching new category(ies) in a new market(s)

    • Supporting Innovative Commercial Models in close collaboration with the Category Manager and scales them with the Markets

    As business development and pricing officer, you will report into Business development Lead for Male Grooming and will be working hand in hand with the Consumer marketing team in the business and Business marketing teams in the countries.

    To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

    • At least 10 years of experience in senior marketing and business positions, with a proven track record at driving growth and profitability

    • Deep understanding of P&L including underlying line items

    • Experience and solid track record in a market organization including customer collaboration and channel management

    • Global experience managing market performance

    • Proven ability to influence and develop relationship with senior stakeholders and key decision makers at senior level

    • Ability to anticipate market trends ahead of the curve and build plans to capitalize the potential

    • Experience in high-tech, healthcare/med-tech solutions businesses, strong preference for experience with consumer medical devices

    • Proven track record in developing and implementing business plans working with the full marketing mix and various distribution channels.

    • Demonstrated knowledge of marketing processes, strategic planning and budgeting

    • Experience in all aspects of Marketing including market insights, value proposition generation, pricing, communications, channel management and planning

    • Work experience in multinational environment with strong personal communication skills able to inspire, convince and mobilize people

    • Ability to synthesize market and customer feedback to drive valuable innovations

    • Proven written, verbal and presentation communication skills and ability to convey complex messages to influence colleagues and executive audiences

    • Demonstrated that you can think conceptually from a broad business perspective taking both strategic as well as operational aspects into consideration.

    • Globally fluent, and able to function effectively across cultures

    • Expertise delivering complex projects to meet demanding feature, cost, quality and launch targets
