    Business Development Manager Cerenovus

    CSS Group: the Dutch CSS Group consists of 2 diverse businesses namely Biosense Webster (BWI) and Cerenovus. The CSS Group serves a diverse base of customers in Electrophysiology (EP) and neurovascular treatments.

    CERENOVUS: Cerenovus is a global neurovascular company that offers a broad portfolio of devices for aneurysm coils, vascular reconstruction devices and other technologies used in the endovascular treatment of cerebral aneurysms and stroke, minimally invasive solutions for stroke prevention and management, and the treatment of cerebral arteriovenous malformations.

    The Business Development Manager (BDM) Cerenovus is combined sales and marketing role. From a sales perspective, he/she creates the demand from the clinical stakeholders, thereby driving business performance and market share. The BDM Cerenovus is responsible that the most important clinical stakeholders become promoters of our products and our company. He/she works closely together with the Strategic Account Manager to ensure an optimal resource allocation and the highest impact of their work.

    From a marketing responsibility, the BDM is mainly responsible for launching new products, developing the yearly marketing plan, developing and executing strategies to drive portfolio profitability, connection with EMEA marketing and peers based in other countries and alignment and execution of the Professional Education team. In addition, we expect to expand the team over time, which means that leadership skills will also be required.

    Main areas of responsibility / expected results/objectives of the role

    Acquisition of new customers:

    • Analyze and integrate information to define business potentials for Cerenovus products
    • Collaborate with BUL, EMEA Marketing and Medical Education team to drive the Cerenovus marketing strategy
    • Collaborate with the Strategic Account Manager to enforce the final sale of Cerenovus products and services
    • Define specific projects as part of the overall account plan that will lead to customer acquisition
    • Establish contacts with key opinion leaders to turn them into strong promoters of our products and our company
    • Initiate, facilitate congresses, user meetings and events that improve the understanding of our offer
    • In the future managing a colleague and together position CNV as THE Neurovascular company and achieve annual growth in sales and market share.

    Management of existing customers and development of new customers:

    • Develop new (inter)national KOL’s
    • Maintain contacts with KOL’s, INR’s and IR lab management to make them promoters of our products and our company
    • Collaborate with the Strategic Account Manager and contribute to the Account Plan to enforce the final sale of JnJ products and services
    • Communicate with customers in the event of complaints, problems or backorders
    • Provide training courses to surgeons, specialists, nurses and operating theater management
    • Apply Healthcare Compliance regulations
    • Provide customer-focused service to develop customer relationships;
    • Communicate with Customer Service, Management and other internal departments about customer information.
