This position will have high visibility to the HUB executive leadership team and provide opportunities to participate and have an impact in strategic discussions
You will proactively work with stakeholders and the existing BD team (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Operations) on developing strategies and objectives around HUB’s ongoing and planned partnering activities to ensure continuity of HUB business pipeline
Develop strategic go-to-market plan and drive stronger value-based sales
Use market insights, identify competition, and evaluate HUB USPs to formulate sales strategies and steer sales efforts to meet market demands and achieve financial targets
Identify market trends, HUB positioning, and evaluate competitive activities and price benchmarking to propose new value story and pricing models
Translating HUB strategic priorities to action plans for the BD department and ensure appropriate execution and tracking
Together with Marketing establish and execute a sales plan for each service segment and evaluate commercial success though analytic-driven approach
Maintain general knowledge of all HUB services for appropriate cross-sell opportunities
Prepare, update and present BD dashboard and KPI’s to keep track of BD progresses, opportunities and ensure business pipeline continuity
Prepare and present related financial trends/reports through various valuation methodologies (financial modelling) for senior management.
Maintain and expand market knowledge in areas of strategic interest to HUB by attending relevant conferences and performing market research
Independently prepare and negotiate contracts and proposals in partnership with CBO and Legal
Record and manage an orderly administration of commercial pipeline and all customer sales relates activities in CRM system (HubSpot)
In this position you will be expected to travel on behalf of HUB and to represent HUB at different industry partnering events.
Master’s degree in a science-based study (PhD or MBA is a pre)
Minimum of 5 years work experience in equivalent position in biopharmaceutical company or CRO.
Strong data analytical abilities, forecasting and financial modelling skills using software’s such as HubSpot as well as Excel.
Proficient in English (written and verbal)
Independently managing timelines and priorities
Excellent critical thinking capability and creative problem-solving skills
Solid negotiation and networking skills
Entrepreneurial and pro-active mentality, resulting in expanding HUB’s market share
Willing and able to travel up to 10% of your working schedule (travel may occur during weekends)
