    Business Development Manager

    Westcon-Comstor (WestconGroup Inc.), a value-added technology distributor of category-leading solutions in Security, Collaboration, Networking and Data Center, is seeking a sales superstar with a strong business development background to serve as an ambassador for key service providers and to maximize Juniper's potential.

    Successful candidates will maintain designated level of activity on accounts, achieve MBO's, respond to customers within set guidelines and meet customer expectations. Most importantly: you will be a strong advocate for Juniper in the marketplace.

    This is an external role and you must be based in Europe or the UK.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    Sales
    • Identify and establish new projects for Juniper within the Global Accounts, like OBS, ATOS, DELL, BT etc.
    • Maintain and grow existing projects for Juniper in these accounts
    • Build up an excellent relationship with the Juniper Account Managers responsible for these accounts and work closely with them together
    • Support internal sales in managing account administration
    Customer Support
    • Keep customers informed with product-related information
    • Coordinate with training, marketing, business development, and product management to effectively support the customer
    • Establish productive vendor relations to ensure quality of service to customers
    Business Management
    • Maintain up-to-date profiles on accounts showing revenue projects and quotas
    • Gain general understanding of customer business and strategic plans as they relate to Westcon products and services
    • Maintain relevant account information develop own knowledge of Westcon and vendor product portfolio

    ABOUT YOU
    In this fast-paced role, you will provide product management & sales engagement to resellers and have a strong understanding of vendor strategy & goals. Key skills include developing aligned strategies that benefit Westcon and ensuring the successful execution of sales and marketing plans.

    Strong candidates will exhibit Westcon-Comstor's values of Excellence, Innovation, Partnership, Integrity and Empowerment, be technologically savvy and possess a strong business acumen.

    Strong sales or account management experience with a background in advanced customer service or sales environment would be ideal.
