Sunbytes is looking for a Senior Business Developer with a broad experience in IT in an international environment. In your role, you will help us to achieve our growth ambitions by acquiring new international clients. Your focus will be on selling our new product, ‘Team as a Service’, as a long term solution for complex software projects. You will also help to further develop our sales strategy and will be involved in various marketing activities through our offices in the Netherlands
You will take on new clients who will build up their multidisciplinary outsourcing team with developers, designers and project managers working from our offices in The Netherlands and Vietnam. Your responsibilities are:
Analyze current and past data, such as sales reports, and provide strategies to increase revenue;
Perform market research to identify new opportunities and engage with executives to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities;
Create and improve proposals for our existing and new clients;
Ensure we're on track to hit revenue targets;
Provide training and mentoring to colleagues in sales;
Develop and deliver pitches for potential clients;
Network with potential clients and other business partners to generate new leads;
Occasionally travel to destinations to best facilitate transactions.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for an independent, seasoned sales professional with experience in IT, but more importantly the perfect match. An intelligent candidate with these extra qualities will be a great addition to our friendly and dynamic team:
At least 10 years of relevant experience in an international sales environment;
Able to create the right expectations when it comes to complex software projects;
Proven track record and ability to bring in a relevant/connected business network
Always looking for the long term gain;
An eye for software development and project framework, such as Scrum;
Able to use this knowledge in your sales pitch to win over current and potential clients
A person with bold character and communicative skills
Solid written and verbal skills in English
An understanding of how to interpret financial and commercial data
Ability to travel in order to see clients and explore new markets
Strong personal leadership skills
You are resilient, independent, flexible and determined;
A familiarity with using relevant software, such as CRM, Office, Sales tools

You will focus on selling our new product ‘Team as a Service’ (TaaS), which provides a solution for large software projects, such as tailor-made applications, mobile apps and complex websites. A TaaS team is customized for a client and consists of full-time and part-time team members, from programmers and designers to software architects and project managers. Clients pay a monthly subscription fee for their team, which they can scale up or scale down. With TaaS, we focus on long-term partnerships with clients.
