    Business Data Analyst

    Job Description:
    We are looking for a Business Data Analyst to join our Business Analysis team. With your strong analytical skills and an eye for detail, you are responsible for collecting, documenting and analyzing internal and external sources of data. You will also develop analytical models and you will provide reports based upon the organization’s needs.

    You are based at our European headquarters in Amersfoort (NL) and you report to the Manager Business Analysis & Planning.

    Within Applied Medical this position has the internal job title of Data Analyst.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Guide the interactions with various departments within the organization to understand their data and analytics needs
    • Work within the framework of a team, develop reports and visualizations, troubleshoot issues and train internal users on the use of Power BI
    • Maintain existing reports, understand needs, recommend KPIs and create compelling data visualizations that support various departments
    • Hands-on involvement in various reporting activities by utilizing tools and technologies such as Power BI, SQL Server Management Studio and Python
    • Participate in process improvement initiatives
    • Work on special projects assigned by management
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree level, preferably in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Sciences or Information Systems
    • 3 + years of relevant experience in a similar position, preferably in an international environment
    • Working knowledge of consuming data from various enterprise systems such as SAP, CRM, HANA, SQL etc.
    • Strong data modeling, visualization and automation abilities in Power BI, Python etc.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
    • Proficient with MS Office, and preferred with MS Visio
