    Business Assistant

    Are you a passionate, hands-on and proactive Assistant who is always ready to support and take pride in their work? Our client is an internationally recognized aviation training center delivering regulatory training courses looking for a Business Assistant to join their organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the management team, HR and other departments across the organization and is a jack of all trade.

    Your main responsibilities will be:

    • Performing editorial work for the official company manuals in collaboration with the Department Managers
    • Preparing paperwork for tendering procedures / focal point in liaison with the Business Strategist
    • Keeping official company documentation filed and timely placed in the company system
    • Organizing meetings and handling the management team's agenda
    • Handling the common mailbox
    • Note-taking within the organization where needed (eg. staff meetings and further project-related meetings where needed)
    • Scanning and filing various documents for the HR files
    • Assisting with administration during recruitments (via LinkedIn) and onboarding (when needed), as per the company’s Recruitment Protocol
    • Assisting with the administration of the Employee Performance Review (EPR) System
    • Assisting with programs for staff – in liaison with the HR Officer
    • Taking on any other relevant tasks as assigned by the Executive team

    Your profile:

    • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree level education, preferably in Secretary courses, Business Administration, HR or related area
    • At least 7 years’ experience
    • Working knowledge of the Dutch employment law
    • Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken. Working knowledge of Dutch also preferred
    • Experience with note-taking and transcribing into proper reports
    • Excellent editorial and creative skills in MS Word and MS Powerpoint
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Self-starter, proactive and independent
    • Positive and enthusiastic attitude
    • Diplomatic, along with a pleasant, professional and upright attitude
    • High level of confidentially due to access to sensitive files
    • Enthusiastic, strong personal commitment and strong social skills
