Can you analyse business processes and translate them into automated solutions? As a Business Analyst Purchasing, you support the Purchasing Department in setting up and improving processes globally as per the Purchasing Systems IT Roadmap. On the one hand you are process oriented: as a Product Owner you will chart the relevant documentation (business case/requirements/process blue print) of the department in relation to Purchasing systems and processes and translate these into functional requirements, which serve as the input for carrying out system developments or process adjustments. On the other hand it helps if you are data-savvy, you know where to retrieve the data from and are able to translate this into meaningful dashboards (both for internal and external users).
You apply a Six Sigma approach to process improvement proposals and translate them into concrete projects, where you are the project leader. Your analysis of the (procurement) process will need to result in improvement plans that are analyzed together with the Information Technology Division;
Acting as an intermediate between Stakeholders, you train, implement and evaluate the agreed solutions. The result will always meet both user needs and serve overall company strategy;
You generate management information and play an advisory role for the business, signaling new developments in the market and translating them into efficient solutions;
You develop dashboards to support the business in their day-to-day work or strategic analyses.
