    Business Analyst

    Business Analyst

    As a Business Analyst at IDEXX and part of the European Incentive Compensation team, you will be the subject matter expert on goal modelling and attainment calculations across multiple countries in Europe.


    Day to day, you would be responsible for the timely and accurate process of calculating the variable compensation for the sales professionals whilst working in a fun and highly dynamic environment. You’ll establish yourself as a valued partner to the business.


    In This Role:


      Goal Modeling, Calculation and Goal Distribution:
      You’ll be involved with incentive compensation modeling for sales leaders and sales professionals across Europe aligned with total compensation expectations and IDEXX business objectives.
      Attainment Calculation and Reporting: Accurate and timely payment of sales compensation.
      Contribution to Goal Methodology and Planning: Ensuring goal setting is appropriate for individual sales territories and aligned to achieve IDEXX business objectives.
      Support the implementation: Help to support the new Incentive Compensation Management system at IDEXX (Anaplan).
      Data Centric: Utilize data and systems to resolve business issues or answer business questions. You’ll develop metrics and reports to assess the effectiveness of incentive designs through regular sales attainment reviews relative to business results and provide recommendations for improvements.
      Maintain the sales organizational hierarchy: Make any changes to hires, terminations, or compensation plan changes.

      Perform validation and data quality checks: Looking at both system data and compensation calculation results.


    What You Need to Succeed:

      General business knowledge required; knowledge of a supporting a commercial organistion preferred.
      Reasoning, financial management and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues; technology aptitude preferred, including development, programming and coding within the business landscape.
      Project management skills and with an ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment – you have excellent communication skills (both written & verbal) to work, present & explain technical subject matter with a range of stakeholders within the organization.
      Influencing skills to gain commitment and support for decisions and to motivate the organization to support business changes.
      Working as part of a team & independently; you enjoy a varied work day and with your strong organisational and attention to detail skills – you’re able to support the organization from a operational and strategic perspective.
