    Associate Product Manager Mobile

    Do you like building beautiful end-user experiences from design time to runtime for web, mobile, augmented reality and conversational UI?
    To further enable the mobile journey, we are looking for an associate product manager who can elevate Mendix as a multi-experience platform and take the end user & developer experience to the next level.
    The ideal candidate possesses a strong affinity with UX, a blend of strategic thinking and analytical power that will help build and ship the right features. Your main task will be identifying the topics and features to continuously raise the bar on building great mobile user experiences with smooth low code developer experience from beginning to end.

    Your main challenges:

      • Help with defining the product vision and strategy to enable developers to build great end-user experiences.
      • Create a roadmap for the different development teams in the Front-end group which ensures that we continuously add value that will make our developers and end-users happy.
      • Working closely with stakeholders both within R&D and other departments to ensure product releases are properly supported with the whole product experience in mind: documentation, training materials, and guidance including best practices.

    Your responsibilities:

      • Advising and helping customers in taking their apps to the next level.
      • Create content to help customers in taking their apps to the next level, which includes best practices, tutorials and training.
      • Identifying customer needs through interacting with customers and by data-driven analysis.
      • Help shaping the solutions and directions by representing the end-users and developers.
      • Designing and releasing products with an outstanding end-user & developer experience on a regular basis, working with the UX and engineering teams to achieve high quality products as well as reasonable timelines.
      • You will work on“whole product” success, providing all stakeholders with the necessary content to market, sell, and implement our testing and quality engineering products.
      • You will work together with other product managers to define requirements and identify dependencies on other parts of the product portfolio to build the functionality our customers need.
      • You will work together with product marketing, expert services, customer success and sales to increase Mendix adoption and success.

    Desired skills and experience:

      • Experience with mobile development, e.g. UX, mobile apps, web apps, augmented reality.
      • Two or more years experience with Mendix or other visual development platforms.
      • Experience with Agile product management & Agile software development
      • The ability to inspire and motivate R&D engineers through your focus on developers and end-users in combination with an entrepreneurial mindset.
      • Educational background in Computer Science, Human Interaction Design or similar.
