Ensure that deadlines are met in the monthly/quarterly/statutory/sox reporting
Lead and monitor inventory-related month-end close processes to ensure the adequate inventory valuation and COGS at month end
Support, run, and review various transfer pricing models (adjustments and true-ups) and calculations
Journal entry preparation
Create monthly and quarterly reports to analyze and identify results, trends (e. g: sales reconciliation, P&L results, fluctuation analysis)
Bad debt and securitization provision calculation
Close collaboration with auditing services (statutory/internal/group/SOX) in order to ensure the timely conclusion and the proper compliance with all regulations
Develop and document business processes (SOPs) to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Business partner to various internal stakeholders (Shared Service Center, Plant’s Accounting, Sales, Supply Chain, Legal/TAX, others)
Assist the Director of Finance and the Financial Controller in any ad-hoc queries and requests
Assist the Shared Service Center (AP/AR/GL/Inventory departments) with queries
HBO or University Degree (Bachelor) in Accounting, Finance, etc.
Ideally 3-5 years of experience in Finance
Sound knowledge of Accounting (general ledger) is a must
Accounting standard US GAAP & Dutch GAAP knowledge is a plus, as well as experience in inventory and transfer pricing
Excellent command of English both in written and in spoken is a must, Dutch or any other languages is a plus
IT knowledge: Excel is a must (pivot tables, vlookups), Oracle and SAP knowledge is a great plus
Time management skills
Accountability for the tasks you are responsible for
Eye for detail and curiosity to learn
Hands-on mentality and problem-solving acumen
A good-team player able to step out of the comfort zone
