    Analytics Consultant

    Day to day

    • Support the development, testing, maintenance and performance monitoring of IFRS 9 and stress test models.
    • Ensure correct implementation of IFRS 9 and stress test models into DLL’s risk infrastructure systems by translating policies and models into technical requirements, testing and reporting on the results.
    • Identify drivers of risk costs and estimate the expected losses for different customer segments.
    • Analyze and model the effect of the macroeconomic developments on the DLL portfolio.
    • Monitor the performance of the A-IRB credit risk models and make proposals for improvement to Model Owner, Senior Management and the designated committees.
    • Participate in IT-related projects focusing on improving and further implementing DLL’s global risk infrastructure.
    • Develop data queries to prepare recurring as well as ad hoc reporting, ensuring high data quality and accurate information to support the department, Group Risk, Group Finance & Control and other stakeholders.
    • Execute other business analyses to identify and manage both risks and opportunities in order to improve business performance.
    • Understand business needs and regulatory requirements and translate these into analytical requirements and sound, well performing and compliant models.
    • Develop recommendations based on the performed analysis and effectively communicate results to the business in both written and verbal form.

    • A Bachelor/Master’s degree in Econometrics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or another quantitative discipline
    • Demonstrated experience with mathematics/statistics
    • Experience with extracting data from various databases and analyzing large data sets for conversion into useful business information
    • Experience in developing and performance monitoring of models is a plus
    • Experience in executing quantitative analyses using statistical programs (R/Python, SPSS), reporting using standard database query language (Hyperion/SQL); experience in working on cloud computing service (Azure) is a plus.
