    Job Description

    In this role, you have the opportunity to

    Execute Manufacturing technology development projects and implement new technologies in factories.

    You are responsible for

    • Executing Manufacturing technology scouting and providing cross-site best-practices and learnings.
    • You will be focused on next generation consoles that support IGT (Image Guided Therapy) devices.
    • Provide in-depth knowledge for productivity improvement activities linked to Manufacturing processes and equipment. Also provide knowledge for problem solving linked to Manufacturing processes and equipment.
    • Coordinates and executes tasks in technology development projects.
    • Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance.
    • Provide support on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth technical knowledge.
    • Share knowledge and best practice from own or other’s experiences.
    • Manufacturing processes and equipment (expert).
    • Design for six sigma / DMAIC.
    • Design for manufacturing, assembly and testability.

    You are a part of

    The IGT Operations organization, which is responsible for the manufacturing, delivery and installation of medical devices used for image guided therapy applications worldwide. You will be reporting to the AME lead and will be working with a small team of R&D engineers, located in NL and the US.

    To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

    • Master degree in Mechanical/ electro mechanical / Industrial Engineering.
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial/ manufacturing engineering.
    • Minimum of 2 years of cross-site project management.
    • Strong English communication skills.
    • Lean Manufacturing
    • Autonomous in his/her activities.
    • Coaches and may give input for assessment of project team members.
    • Supporting technology scouting.
    • Responsible for managing own budget > € 1 M.
    • Basic Project Management Skills.
    • Skills development
    • Willingness to travel to several manufacturing sites around the globe (25-30% under normal circumstances)
