    Administrative Assistant Customer Service

    Job Description

    It’s an exciting time to join IFF’s Customer Service Scent.

    We are looking for an English speaker to join our talented team of 20 Customer Service dedicated representatives, coordinating the Scent B2B supplies to all IFF customers in the EAME region. The role of the team is to create and maintain sustainable client-centered relationships with our customers. This is a very interesting and diverse role in one of our biggest locations globally, our production facility located at Tilburg in the Netherlands. The challenging role requires a hands-on, pro-active self-starter that learns quickly and gets things done in an international highly dynamic environment. This is a temporary role.


    About You…

    Being part of the Customer Service team, the center of the Supply Chain, will give an amazing experience in understanding the order management flow and Supply chain organization.

    To be successful in this challenging role you must have a bachelor degree, preferably in Business or Supply Chain Management. Professionalism, self-development and being a good team player are key values. You will need to demonstrate strong collaboration skills, are a quick learner and able to work with people from all backgrounds and disciplines.

    The Administrative Assistant Customer Service is supporting the team and is responsible for the below internal key support tasks:
    • Receive, check and load orders in SAP;
    • Liaise closely with all concerned departments to try to resolve any bottlenecks;
    • Load and coordinate customer complaints, disputes and credit/debit note requests in a timely and professional manner;
    • Maintain customer and product data up to date;
    • Handle customer complaints in a timely and professional manner;
    • Actively participate to projects.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business or Supply Chain Management;
    • Fluent in English, another language is a pre;
    • Good computer skills;
    • Flexible, adaptable and manages stress well;
    • Pro-active, accurate with strong agility and organizational skills;
    • Good communication and presentation skills, and a high level of professional behavior is required, both internally and externally;
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage time effectively and deal with people at all levels and cultural diversity;
    • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work with people from all backgrounds and disciplines to achieve desired objectives. Can deal with people at all levels and cultural diversity;
    • Be a team player and able to listen, comprehend and effectively communicate to obtain positive results.
