As an Engineering Coordinator, you assist the Head of Department and the Assistant Chief Engineer in the planning and implementation of the day to day tasks in the hotel. You are involved in the mid-term and long-term planning of projects for the department. Your main role when starting this position is setting up the Maintenance Management System (Transcendent). You will identify and insert all equipment into the system, making sure it is set up to plan all maintenance related tasks in the hotel.
In order to do so, you need to have project management skills and know how to tackle a big project such as this one.
Setting up our Maintenance Management System (Transcendent): Identify and Insert all equipment into the system. Once set up, manage the system and use it to program the day to day operation of the department. Plan ahead for bigger projects and involve all stakeholders.
Helping the department head and Assistant in the organization of the day to day tasks.
Making purchasing orders
Schedule maintenance visits
Contacting suppliers for all kind of orders
Filing all certificates and other paper work both hard & digital
Checking internal system for work orders, completing and follow up as needed
Analyzing guest feedback
All other tasks that reasonably can be expected
MBO / HBO Thinking Level
Knowledge of Microsoft and Adacco / Transcendent is a plus
Experience with administrative tasks
Fluent in English, preferably fluent in Dutch
Experience in a hotel is a preference
