Accounts Payable Accountant

Prologis is looking to recruit an AP Accountant to work within the Accounts Payable (AP) team based in Amsterdam , the Netherlands. In this broad and challenging role, you will be working on the AP process from A to Z, working together with all departments of the business. You will be the first point of contact for our German speaking countries, working with colleagues and vendors on all invoice related queries.

The AP department is responsible for all AP activities of the 1000+ legal entities across multiple jurisdictions in Europe. The department consists of two teams: Each team consists of 6 AP Accountants with 1 AP Supervisor, reporting into the Director Process Accounting. Each team member is responsible for their own region, servicing the different country business teams focused on invoice processing and query resolution.

What’s needed in order to do that:
Timely and accurate processing of all incoming invoices
Timely and adequately responding to all internal and external customer queries
Review the AP aging for odd and old items
Review and resolve non-clearing items from AP clearing suspense accounts
Participate in daily stand-up meetings to identify and implement process improvements
Continuously identify and implement opportunities for efficiency improvements
Continuously work on improving levels of customer satisfaction
Act as a reliable and customer minded business partner

At least 2 years’ experience in a (international) financial role
Good communicative skills
Team player mentality
Good level of English and German, spoken, written and verbal
