Oikocredit International is looking for an Accounting Administrator based in our head quarter in Amersfoort.
To support inflow activities the Accounting Administrator is responsible for the complete and accurate administration of investors in Titan which consist of: book on top investments of existing investors in Titan, process redemptions, process settlement orders in Titan (OISF), administrative support for NSO’s and SA’s.
To support outflow activities he/she is responsible for the complete and accurate administration of projects in eFront which consist of: pick up a transaction from the bank statements (disbursement, instalment, interest payment), book the transaction in eFront, book write-offs in eFront and Exact, analyze the data and answer questions about the data.
He/she is also responsible to ensure all transactions are booked appropriately by ensuring the complete and accurate general administration in Exact which consist of: check suspense accounts and book them to the correct GL, post journals related to monthly closing activities, book journals related to treasury, perform revaluations, book payments based on bank statements, import RES reports in Exact, link transactions etc.
Important in this role is also the VAT declaration on a quarterly basis and making sure that all is booked correctly regarding the WKR (werkkostenregeling).
Additionally the accounting administrator performs monthly closing activities such as; processing payroll journal, posting accruals, maintain fixed assets register etc. as well as other activities such as update and document staff loan repayment schedules, submit VAT and income tax forms.
To embed best practices and standardize ways of working he/she creates, updates and reviews policies and procedures in agreement with the Financial Control & Accounting Manager.
Vocational degree in a relevant financial study (in Dutch: HBO, HEAO, AC, BE, SPD)
Minimum of 5 years’ experience of relevant experience
Computer literacy, especially in Word and Excel, knowledge of Exact is preferable
Fluency in English and in Dutch
