    Working student / Internship - Digital Product Management

    ERIKS Digital is looking for a working student assistant / internship to play an active role in their product management team for 2-3 days per week.

    This role would be an excellent fit for a proactive and organized Master’s student looking for a career in consultancy, business administration, digital, innovation, product management or marketing.

    The Product Management function of ERIKS Digital defines the strategy and roadmaps of our broad range of digital products. We build new propositions for customers, such as our ecommerce platform and our innovative predictive maintenance solutions, as well as manage a range of digital products used by our thousands of employees to enable them in their day-to-day work. We’re a team of 15+ Product Managers and related disciplines within the ERIKS Digital organization (100+ employees) headquartered in Amsterdam.

    To support the activities of the Product Management leadership, we are looking for an energetic and proactive student or recent graduate to manage and coordinate a number of important projects on a part-time basis.


    What You Will Do
    You will work directly with our Product Management leadership team as well as other parts of ERIKS Digital, ERIKS country units across Europe and other functions on a number of projects, which could include:

    • Working with our country units, set up a customer insights engagement program for ERIKS Digital colleagues, so that there is a structural approach that our product management team, and other ERIKS Digital colleagues, can get direct engagement with our customers, understand better their needs and as a result how we can build better solutions for them.
    • Working with Product Managers and learning & development colleagues, create a set of Product Management training programs on topics such as Design Sprints, Problem Solving, etc., that will utilize tools like our LinkedIn Learning content programs to better equip our product managers and other functions in Product Management methodologies.
    • Organizing the first ERIKS global hackathon pulling together teams from across ERIKS to create new solutions to problems.
    • Doing market research and an analysis on an ad-hoc basis for different programs.
    • Coordinate with our process improvement organization (ExCeed) to see where digital teams can play an active role in ongoing process improvement activities (Kaizens).
    • You are structured and good at planning and organized, as well as being able to pursue activities to keep things moving.
    • You are resourceful and not intimidated by the challenge of organizing events and activities across ERIKS
    • You’re a good communicator and can articulate your plans to other parts of the team and organization.
    • You are proactive and hands-on and enjoy rolling-up your sleeves and getting involved.
    • You can work independently and are also good at working with others and bridging gaps between teams and individuals.
    • You have an interest in the role digital technologies can play in transforming outcomes for businesses and customers, which shows through your studies, interests or previous jobs.
    • You know your way around a spreadsheet.
    • After we guide you into the role, you can take care of things on your own
    • A good command of the English language, English is our main language
