Smith is currently seeking detail-oriented, motivated, efficient and talented personnel to join our Global Operations team in Haarlem.

You will support Operations by performing electronic component inspections, shipping, receiving and dismantling duties.

Essential Job Duties:

• Verify part information visually, using various microscopic equipment and the naked eye, to ensure the component matches manufacturer specifications
• To receive and ship orders in a timely fashion
• Unload all inbound shipments from various carriers
• Open boxes, separate product and place in bins along with the waybill and pack list
• Perform careful dismantling of the hardware when needed
• Utilize the Smith proprietary system to complete, in detail, the receiving process

• Verify that PO/SO requirements are met

• Communicate with appropriate individuals when discrepancies arise
• Complete internal /external labels per customer requirements
• Document product and shipping condition through pictures
• Package material in appropriate containers with sufficient padding and protection
• Place required paperwork in/on shipments

Competencies:

• Ability to work under pressure and still pay attention to detail
• Eagerness to learn
• Team player
• Good written and oral communication skills in English are a must
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel is a plus
• Component or product inspection experience is a plus
• Warehouse experience is a plus
• Knowledge of the electronics distribution field is helpful
• Preference for candidates who are based in or close to Haarlem
