    OVERVIEW:

    The Vice President of Field Marketing – Europe must have a passion and successful history of building and executing highly effective regional marketing growth strategies and programs that can be implemented by direct and channel sales organizations. This Senior Marketing leader will have a proven track record of building high performance, outcome-based marketing teams. You will also have strong experience leading a marketing transformation from tactically activities to full funnel marketing campaigns and programs that are data driven and result in measurable outcomes. In this role, you will work closely with the global marketing organization to regionalize and execute global demand gen campaigns, product launches, channel marketing programs and customer marketing initiatives in Europe. You will partner closely with European sales leadership to build and execute regional field marketing programs, ABM, and events to gain new business, as well as, to build increased loyalty and retention of existing customers. The ideal candidate will be a strong regional marketing leader with an understanding of EU customer’s needs, the market dynamics, exceptional understanding of demand generation and field marketing. To thrive in this role, you must be comfortable being personably accountable to achieve measurable marketing results directly and through others. You enjoy a fast paced, customer centric, agile marketing model that requires close collaboration with both global, regional and business stakeholders. You are a strong leader with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing your team members.

    OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS:

    • Partner with EU Sales Leader to identify and enable lead gen activities across Europe to support pipeline growth as well as growth within Skillsoft’s customer base
    • Lead the EU integration of the marketing teams, technology, and processes from recent and future acquisition
    • Partner closely with EU Sales Leader and Global Marketing Leadership to identify and strategically pursue market expansion opportunities within the region.
    • Develop and execute quarterly regional marketing plans to support lead gen metrics
    • Conduct post event analysis and determine ROI of Field activities based on data
    • Develop viable account-based marketing activities to align with account specific plans
    • Determine fiscal requirements and prepare budget for Field programs
    • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to define program goals and objectives that promote Skillsoft’s brand and drive pipeline
    • Foster Sales and Marketing alignment through regular program reporting and quarterly business reviews
    • Spokesperson at industry and Skillsoft events (live or virtual)
    • Interviewer of customer stories (aka Podcasts) for customers and partners in the region
    • Thought-leader role within the sector for media and press coverage opportunities – trends, insights etc.
    • Europe is defined as France, Netherlands, Spain, UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Nordic.

    SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 15+ years’ experience in a Field Marketing Leadership role in an Enterprise Software environment
    • Fluent English and fluency /business proficiency in 1 to 2 other European languages.
    • Experience building and leading high performance, outcome-based pan marketing European teams
    • Strong performance and digital marketing acumen
    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Familiarity working in an Agile marketing model
    • Strong collaboration and proactive communication skills
    • Proven track record of success working in a matrixed global and regional marketing organization.
    • Experience in crafting results-driven marketing programs that leverage data
    • Critical thinking, problem solving skills
    • Excellent project management skills
    • Ability to report and analyze program metrics and ROI
    • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced and results-oriented environment
    • Experienced in using CRM and Marketing Automation systems/tools
